Officials say an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) The lobby and customer service area at City Hall in Hagerstown will be closed until further notice. Officials say this is a precautionary action following a city employee testing positive for COVID-19.
While public exposure to the infected employee was negligible, Hagesrtown officials say a deep cleaning of the lobby arid customer service area will take place, and access to City Hall will be limited to appointments only.
During the closure, customers can continue to make payments on line, but payments over the phone is not an option at this time.
The city says public meetings in the Council Chamber on the second floor will continue as scheduled.
