COVID-19 Cases Pass 100,000 Mark In Maryland

But Governor says positivity rate is low.                                                                                                  

 

 

Annapolis, Md (KM) The number of COVID-19 cases in Maryland stands at 100, 715 as of Monday afternoon. That’s an increase of 503 from the day before. The State Health Department says the number of deaths stands at 3504 , which is two more than on Sunday.

In Frederick County, there are 3,231 confirmed cases of COVID-19., .which is 16 more than on Sunday. Deaths still remain at 114.

The number of confirmed cases in Washington County as of Monday afternoon is 1,138, which is 13 more than on Sunday. The number of deaths from the coronavirus is 31. T

he Governor’s Office says Maryland’s seven-day positivity rate has fallen to 3.27%. That’s the percentage of people testing positive for the coronavirus out of  all those who have been tested. The state also says total hospitalization and ICU usage are at their lowest levels since March 29th.
