Frederick, Md (KM) A woman has been charged with two counts of being an accessory after the fact for 1st-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting last year in Frederick. Court records say Brandy Nicole Dorsey, 32, was served with an arrest warrant last week.

Bond was denied bond during a hearing on Monday. She was already being held at the Adult Detention Center on unrelated charges.

Authorities says the charges of being an accessory after the fact follow the death of Robert Allen Bair Knight, 30. . He was fatally shot at the Sunset Apartments in the 1000 block of Columbine Drive in June 27th, 2019 while inside a vehicle. A woman who was with him was taken to a local trauma center.

A Grand Jury in February indicted Lavonte Nash for Knight’s murder. According to the indictment, Knight is alleged to have distributed cocaine to Nash in May, 2017.  Knight was to appear in court as a witness against Nash on drug charges. However, he was shot and killed before that could happen, authorities say.
