COVID-19 Cases Go Up In Frederick County

Positivity rate increases, but it’s still remains low.                                                                                    

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) COVID-19 cases continue to increase in Frederick County.

The Health Department says as of Tuesday afternoon, there are 3,247 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 16 from the day before.

The seven-day positivity rate continues to go up as well, standing at 2.1% percent. It was 1.6% last week. . That’s the percentage of people who tested positive out of all of those tested during a seven-day period.

The number of deaths remains at 114.

In Washington County, the Joint Information Center says as of Tuesday afternoon, there are 1,142 confirmed coronavirus cases, that’s an increase of four from Monday. The number deaths remains at 31.
