Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County has recorded an additional death from the coronavirus. As of Friday afternoon, the Health Department says there are 115 deaths from COVID-19., one more than on Thursday. The last coronavirus death in Frederick County was reported 22 days prior. .
The number of confirmed local COVID-19 cases is 3,309, an increase of 20 from Thursday.
The seven-day positivity rate is 1.9%, that’s down from 2% on Thursday. . . That’s the percentage of patients who tested positive out of all of those tested over a seven-day period.
The Maryland Department of Health reports the number of coronavirus cases statewide as of Friday is 102,899, which is up by 670 since Thursday. The number of deaths stands at 3,536, which is five more than the previous day.
The State’s seven-day positivity rate is 3.09%.
