The County says the road will be undergo embankment stabilization.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering says Bennies Hill Road between Harley Road and Catoctin Creek will be closed on or about Tuesday, September 8th. This will allow the contractor, C. William Hetzer, Inc., to do road reconstruction, embankment stabilization and safety improvements.
The work is expected to last two months.
A detour will be set up featuring a combination of Burkittsville Road (Rt 17), Old MIddletown Road and Roy Schafer Road.
