Damascus, Md (KM) Montgomery County Police are continuing their investigation of a fatal vehicle crash in the Damascus area Tuesday morning..
Officers along with fire and rescue personnel responded to Damascus Road and Annapolis Rock Road at around 8:15 AM for a serious collision. They learned that a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by Andrew Robert Walter, 48, of Locust Street in Damascus, was traveling south on Damascus Road and was approaching Annapolis Rock Road. For unknown reasons police say the Tahoe left the roadway and struck a tree.
Walter was pronounced dead at the scene.
