Police confiscated fentanyl, MDMA, heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana

Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – Police in Hagerstown made over 30 drug related arrests, including two men from Frederick County.

The Hagerstown Police Department created a temporary task force to combat both drug and violent crimes. The Violent Crimes Task Force initiative resulted in 33 arrests, 18 arrest warrants served and eight illegal firearms that were seized. Seventeen search-and-seizure warrants were executed.

This investigation was a coordinated effort between the Hagerstown Police Department, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington County Narcotics Taskforce, and the Maryland State Police.

The arrests included Qualin Benjamin of Frederick, and Travis Green of Myersville.

Police confiscated fentanyl, MDMA, heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana, and over $38,000 in cash.
