Another Death Reported This Week In Frederick County From COVID-19

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Health Department is reporting another death this week from the COVID-19 virus. That brings the total to 122.

The agency also says as of Thursday, there are 3,834 local cases of the coronavirus, which is 23 more than the day before.

The seven-day positivity rate is 2.4%. That’s the percentage of people testing positive for COVID-19 out all of those individuals tested over a seven-day period.

The Maryland Department of Health is reporting 118,519 COVID-19 cases across the state as of Thursday, which is an increase of 631 from Wednesday.

The number of deaths, according to the Department, stand at 3,717, an increase of five from the day before.

The State’s seven-day positivity rate is 3.33%.
