Gaithresburg, Md (KM) A Gaithersburg man is charged with attempted 1st-degree murder for trying to kill his wife whose 45. Allen L. Price, Jr., 41, was taken into custody.
Montgomery County Police say officers were called to a home on Sandy Lake Drive on Thursday morning at 10:18 for reports of a shooting. The found a woman in the home with a gunshot wound. Officers performed life-saving measures on the victim, and fire and rescue personnel took her to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Family members told detectives they heard a gunshot. They found the victim in her bedroom; .and saw Price jumping out of a second-story window and fleeing on foot.
With the help of Maryland National Capital Park Police, and the State Police Helicopter, Montgomery County Police Officers found Price 90-minutes later along Broadwater Drive in Gaithersburg. They also found a loaded handgun nearby.. Authorities say Price is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a previous conviction.
He is being held without bond.
