One Man Medivaced After Being Struck By A Motor Vehicle In Carroll County

His injuries are described as ‘life threatening.’                                                   

 

 

 

Westminster, Md (KM) A 46-year-old man from Westminster was flown to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center  in Baltimore on  Monday night with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a motor vehicle.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says a 19-year-old man also from Westminster was traveling north on Englar Road near Monroe Street in the Westminster area when the Honda Civic he was driving struck a pedestrian

The 19-year-old was taken to Sinai Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say a preliminary investigation revealed that the 46-year-old man was wearing dark clothing and not crossing in designated crosswalks.
