More Drop Boxes Set Up In Frederick County

Voters can drop off ballots, applications for mail-in ballots.                                                                         

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County Election Officials say drop boxes are in place to receive mail-in ballots, and applications for mail-in ballots.

They are located in front of the Board of Elections office at 340A Montevue Lane; Governor Thomas Johnson High at 1501 North Market Street outside of the main gym entrance;. Catoctin High School, 14745 Sabillasville Road at the front entrance; Urbana Regional Library, 9020 Amelung Street at the rear entrance; Brunswick Middle School at 301 Cummings Drive in the front entrance; and the Middletown Volunteer Fire Department Activities Center at 1 Fireman’s Lane at the rear entrance..

Election office staff will empty these boxes on a daily basis, and process any applications.

The voter registration deadline is October 13th, and the deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 20th.

Mail-in ballots must be returned  to the elections office by mail with a postmark no later than November 3rd. They can also be placed in a secure drop box by election day, November 3rd by 8:00 PM when polls close.
