Continued Rise In COVID-19 Cases In Frederick County

Number of deaths from the coronavirus remain the same.                                                                    

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The number of COVID-19 cases in Frederick County continues to increase. The Health Department says as of Monday afternoon, the number of coronavirus cases stands at 4,359 which is an increase of 19 within the last 24-hours. There are 127 deaths from COVID-19 in Frederick County.

The seven-day positivity rate is 2.1%. That’s the percentage of patients testing positive for COVID-19 out of all of those individuals tested over a seven-day period.

The number of confirmed cases in Washington County is 1,993 with 41 deaths. Carroll County there are 2,086 cases of COVID-19 with 123 deaths , and in Montgomery County 23,696 with 815 deaths.

Statewide, the Maryland Department of Health reports the number of COVID-19 cases, as of Monday afternoon, stands at 131,861, an increase of 504 within the past 24 hours. The number of deaths is 3,859, up by  five from Sunday.
