Two More Deaths Reported In Frederick County From COVID-19

Cases also continue to increase.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County saw two more deaths from the coronavirus as of Thursday afternoon. The Health Department says that brings the total number of patients who have died from COVID-19 at 129.

The number of cases currently stands at 4,436, an increase of 37 from Wednesday.

The County’s seven-day positivity rate is 2.7% percent. That’s the percentage of people who tested positive for COVID-19 out of all of those who were tested over a seven-day period.

In other areas, the Maryland Department of Health is reporting Washington County with 2,054 coronavirius cases, and 42 deaths. Carroll County has 2.,108 COVID-19 cases, and 125 deaths. And Montgomery County has 24,015 cases, and 820 deaths.

Across Maryland, the Health Department says there are 133,548 cases of COVID-19, an increase of 630 as of Thursday. The number of deaths is reported at 3,883, which is six more than the day before. The agency also says there 1,637,287 patients who tested negative for the coronavirus, and 3.08% tested positive.
