The number of cases keeps going up.
Frederick, Md (KM) The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Frederick County as of Tuesday afternoon is 131. That’s an increase of one since Monday.
The Health Department also says there are 4,721 coronavirus cases as of Tuesday afternoon, and that’s an increase of 21 from the day before.
The seven-day positivity rate is 3.7%. . That’s the percentage of patients who tested positive compared to all of those tested over a seven-day period.
In Washington County, the Joint Information Center reports 2,226 cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday afternoon, an increase of 22 since the last report on October 26th. The number deaths has gone up by one to 44.
The positivity rate in Washington County is 3.45%.
Statewide, the Maryland Department of Health reports 141,741 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday, which is 897 more than the day before. The number of deaths is 3,962, which is nine more than the previous day. The percentage of positive cases is 3.35%. .
