Hagerstown, MD – (RD) – A Hagerstown murder suspect is in jail following an arrest in Ocean City Thursday evening.
Twenty-five year-old Alexander Daniel Brooks is facing multiple counts of murder and conspiracy related to the October 14th shooting of Daynard Johnson of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
Johnson was found shot to death on Henry Avenue..
U.S. Marshals tracked down Brooks to Ocean City where he was taken into custody late last night.
Hagerstown police were in Ocean City to take Brooks into custody, and returned him to the Washington County Detention Center:
The suspect is facing, 1st and 2nd degree murder, conspiracy to commit 1st and 2nd degree murder, and numerous firearms related charges..
The murder of Daynard Johnson remains an ongoing investigation.
