Nearly 70% Of Registered Voters In Frederick County Have Voted

 

The elections office issued over 68,000 mail-in ballot

Frederick, Md. (DG) – Turn out was very good today at all Frederick County polling locations.  There were no problems except for some minor glitches like paper getting jammed, but nothing serious.
Election Director Stuart Harvey said 60% of the registered electorate in Frederick County cast a ballot during early voting. So far today, about 10% of the registered electorate has voted.
During normal Presidential elections about 80% of the registered electorate votes in Frederick County.
Harvey said his office issued 68,963 mail-in ballots.  They have received back 58,260 ballots.  The elections office has until November 13, 2020 to count mail-in ballots.
