Use of city parking decks will be free that day.
Frederick, Md (KM) The City of Frederick will be closed on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11th.
No payment is required for citizens who want to park in the city’s parking garages on that day, and there will be no trash collection service. For those who normally set out their trash Tuesday night for Wednesday collection are urged to set out their rubbish Wednesday night for collection on Thursday.
There will also be no yard waste collection on Wednesday November 11th. That will resume on a regular schedule on Wednesday, November 18th.
Commercial downtown business trash will be collected on its regular schedule.
The city also says recyclables will not be collected on Wednesday, November 11th. Recycling will resume at its regular schedule on Friday, November 13th.
