COVID-19 Cases Stand At More Than 156,000 In Maryland

Frederick  County has over 5,000.                                                                                            

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) COVID-19 cases continue going up in Maryland. The State Health Department says as of Tuesday morning, there are 156,709 coronavirus cases in Maryland, which is 1,338 additional since Monday. The number of deaths is 4,084, and that’s 12 more than the day before. Maryland’s positivity rate is 5.24%

Frederick County has 5,257 COVID-19 cases, and 132 deaths. The local, seven-day positivity rate is 4.3% percent. That’s the percentage of patients who tested positive for COVID-19 out of all of those tested over a seven-day period.

Washington County is reporting more than 2,664 coronavirus cases, and 47 deaths.

In Carroll County, there are 2,504 and 127 deaths.

Howard County is reporting 6,443 with 123 deaths.

There are 27,731 cases of the coronavirus in Montgomery County, with 855 deaths.
