The incident is under investigation. 
Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputy who was injured in a single vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon is at home recovering.
Officials say the deputy, who was not responding to a call for service, was involved in a rollover accident at around 3:00 PM at Interstate 70 near Route 40A in Braddock Heights. Fire and rescue crews responded and were able to safely remove the deputy, who was flown by helicopter to Shock Trauma for further evaluation.
The deputy was released from the hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office says it continues to investigate this incident. Anyone who has information which could help is asked to contact Sergent t Bart Ruppenthal at 301-600-1046.
