Coronavirus Numbers In Frederick County Continuing Going Up

They’re just passed  past 5700.                                                                                                           

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The numbers just  keep on climbing. . As of Tuesday, the Frederick County Health Department reports there were 5,703 local coronavirus cases since the pandemic began; and that’s 87 more than on Monday. There are currently 133 deaths from COVID-19.

The seven-day positivity rate is 5.5%. . That’s the percentage of patients who tested positive for COVID-19 out of all of those who were tested over a seven-day period.

In Washington County, there are 3,112 COVID-19 cases, and 54 deaths. Carroll County reports 2,780 cases of the coronavirus with 128 deaths.

The State Health Department says in Montgomery County, there are 29,571 COVID-19 cases with 41 deaths. In Howard County, it’s 6,945 cases of the coronavirus, and six deaths.

Across the state, the Maryland Department of Health reports as of Tuesday a total of 169, 805 cases of the coronavirus, which is 2,149 more compared to Monday. The number of deaths is 4,186, which is 26 more than the previous day.  The positivity rate across the state is 6.85%.
