Some Maryland Army National Guard troops are back home in time for the holidays. A cheering crowd gathered to welcome members of the 729th Quartermaster Composite Supply Company Tuesday. The soldiers had been conducitng operatons in Europe since last December.
They say everyone had to step up when COVID-19 hit during their developement. “The type of risk mitigation that we had to start organizing around missions and making sure we were still getting our job done, but taking safety measures, it was a big challenge,” said Capt. Ryan Lundregen/U.S. Army Reserve.

Because of the ‘pandemic, the returning guard members reunited with their loved ones in the parking lot of M&T Bank Stadium.
