Two Injured Following Three-Vehicle Crash In Washington County

Both were taken to area hospitals.                                                                                                              

 

Hagerstown, Md (KM) State Police in Washington County continue to investigate a three-vehicle crash Friday night near Williamsport.

Just after 6:00 PM, troopers responded to Route 40   and Overview Circle where a Buick LaSabre operated by Deborah Sue Snelson was traveling eastbound. She attempted to turn left into a local business where her vehicle was struck on the passenger side door by two motorcycles. The operators of the bikes identified as Kristopher Sours and Matthew Capotosti, were injured.

One was flown out by State Police helicopter Trooper Three which is based in Frederick. The other was transported by ambulance to a hospital.  . Snelson was released from the scene.

Route 40  near Overview Circle was closed for a period of time while troopers conducted their investigation.
