City Of Frederick Offices To Be Closed On Thanksgiving Day, The Following Friday

Holiday weekend free parking starts in downtown Frederick parking garages on Saturday, November 28th.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick City offices will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26th, and on Friday, November 27th.

Motorists will not to have to pay to park in the city’s parking garages on both days, and there will be no residential trash collection on Thursday. If you usually set out your trash on Wednesday evening to be collected on Thursday, you’re asked to set out your rubbish on Thursday evening for Friday collection.

Commercial business trash will be collected on a regular schedule. But commercial business recycling will not be collected on Friday. It will return to a regular schedule on Monday, November 30th. For  more information, go o on line to www.frederickcountymd.gov/1764/Recycling-Information.

There will be no yard waste collection on Thursday and Friday.

The City also says  there will be free parking on the weekends during the Holidays at the downtown parking garages. . That starts on Saturday, November 28th, and continues through the end of the year. Parking will be free in the parking garages on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2020, and New Year’s Day, January 1st, 2021.

The William Talley Recreation Center will be closed on Thursday, November 26th, and Friday, November 27th. Normal operations will resume on Saturday, November 28th.
