Frederick County School Board Votes To Close Sabillasville Elementary School

The school’s enrollment is 70 students.                                                                                            

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Board of Education voted on Monday to close Sabillasville Elementary School at the end of the current school year. This School Board’s decision follows consideration of a variety of alternatives provided by the community to keep the school open.

Sabillasville Elementary School has a current enrollment of 70 students. It was built for 160 students.

The School System says it will share details with parents in the Sabillasville community about future options.

The school first opened in 1964.
