A dog was found tied up & unattended. 
Frederick, Md (KM) An investigation is underway into a possible abandoned pet.
Frederick County Animal Control says a citizen called 911 on Tuesday at around 4:30 PM to report a Pit Bull-type dog tied up, unattended at a home in the 400 block of Heather Ridge Drive. Officers found the dog which is a female, brown and white in color.
The animal was in poor and condition and was taken to a local veterinarian for examination and treatment.
