It provides financial assistance to those in arrears on their water and sewer bills.
Frederick, Md (KM) The City of Frederick has started up a new utility relief assistance program for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s open to citizens who have unpaid water and sewer bills between June1st and November 6th of this year. Bills dated before June 1st, or after November 6th are not eligible due to the terms of the federal funding.
Grants will be provided up to $599.. The money comes from the CARES Act funding.
Eligible residents will receive information outlining the application process. All applications must be submitted by December 20th.

Previously paid bills, accounts in inactive or transferred status, or those with balances under $20 are not eligible for this relief program.
