Baltimore, MD (KB) The Maryland Lottery is looking for three big Powerball winners in Frederick after Wednesday’s drawing.

Maryland Lottery spokesperson, Gail Pelovitz, said two tickets worth $50,000 dollars were sold at Sheetz #242 at 1600 Rosemont Avenue.

“The winners, what they did was, they matched four numbers plus the Powerball, which gives you $50,000 dollars,”

Pelovitz said the third ticket, worth $100,000 dollars, was sold at FSK News at 5500 Buckeystown Pike.

“The ticket that’s worth $100,000 dollars added the Power Play multiplier, which brought it up to $100,000 dollars,” she explained.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 4, 23, 37, 61, and 67; Powerball was 7 and the Power Play multiplier was x2.

Maryland Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in safe locations. Due to COVID-19, winners will need to schedule an appointment at the Lottery Headquarters in Baltimore to claim their prizes. Winners typically have 182 days to cash their tickets.

Pelovitz also said the Mega Millions and Powerball drawings, set to take place on Friday and Saturday respectively, are growing.

“Mega Millions, which is Friday night, is $310 million and Powerball for Saturday is $304 million,” she stated. “Up until that evening, right before the drawing, you can buy both Powerball and Mega Millions tickets and maybe we’ll get a big Maryland winner before Christmas.”
