Woodworking Shop Destroyed By Fire In Washington County

Clear Spring, Md (KM) Fire destroyed a woodworking shop, along with equipment and tools, early Tuesday morning.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says just before 12:30 AM, fire fighters were dispatched to the 11502 Dam Number Five Road in Clear Spring, and spent one hour bringing the flames under control. No one was hurt.

Damage is estimated at $2,000 to the structure, and $10,000 to the contents.

Authorities says the fire originated in the front interior of the woodworking shop. The cause remains under investigation.
