It has 12,000 on hand to give out to the public.
Frederick, Md (KM) 12,000 masks to help protect against the COVID-19 virus are being distributed by the Frederick Motor Company starting on Tuesday. The local Ford dealership says will hand out the masks from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM, or while supplies last. Each person will receive about 20 masks.
They will be available to the general public as well as the first responders.
Originally, Frederick Motor Company offered the masks to the Frederick Health Hospital, but FHH politely declined.
The local Ford dealership is participating in “Ford Mask Distribution” day on Tuesday with other Ford dealers in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
These masks being distributed by the Frederick Motor Company have not been cleared by the FDA for use in surgeries by medical professionals.
