An overhead portal was damaged by a vehicle.
Thurmont, Md (KM) Roddy Road near the historic covered bridge is closed.
The Frederick County Office of Highway Operations says a vehicle struck and damaged the overhead portal north of the bridge; and Roddy Road in that area is closed until repairs are made.
The historic wooden covered bridge was not damaged.
