Mt. Airy, Md (KM) The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a vehicle fire in Mount Airy Thursday afternoon.
At around 5:12 PM, fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to the 1700 block of Kings Forest Trail for a Ram 1500 Crew Cab on fire. It took ten fire fighters 20-minutes to bring the flames under control.
There were no injuries. Damage is estimated at $25,000..
Officials say the fire originated in the engine compartment. The cause remains under investigation.
