Frederick County  Grand Jury Returns Ten Indictments On Friday

Two of the indictments involved co-defendants.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Ten indictments were returned on Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury, including two co-defendants.

Rhett Avery Anderson, 20, of Frederick, and Liam Christian Ellis, 20, of New Market, are both charged with 2nd-degree burglary; conspiracy to commit 2nd-degree burglary; two counts of 4th-degree burglary; possession of burglary tools (a pick axe); two counts of malicious destruction of property of $1000 or more; being a rogue and vagabond; trespassing on school property, damaging that property; and theft less than $100 for an incident which occurred on November 4th.

Two other men were indicted as co-defendants for an incident which occurred on December 28th, 2020. They are Nicholas Ian McVey, 20, of Middletown, and Cameron Curtis Little, 24, of Walkersville. McVey was indicted for use of a firearm in a violent crime; use of a firearm in a drug trafficking; drug distribution with a firearm; possession of marijuana; possession of a regulated firearm under the age of 21; two counts of illegal possession of a firearm; having a handgun on his person; having a handgun in a vehicle; having a loaded handgun in a vehicle; and possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana.

Little is charge with use of a firearm in a violent felony; use of a firearm in drug trafficking; use of a firearm for drug distribution; possession with intent to distribute marijuana; possession of a firearm with a felony conviction; two counts of illegal  possession of a firearm;; having a loaded handgun in a vehicle; having a handgun in a vehicle; illegal possession of ammunition; possession of more than ten grams of marijuana; exceeding the maximum posted speed limit; and failure to display a license on demand. :

The panel also charged Haley Elizabeth Biser, 21, who has no fixed address, with extortion between $1000 to $10,000; conspiracy to commit verbal extortion with threat or injury, threatening to send or deliver injury, and conspiracy to commit theft between $1500 to $10,000 for an incident which occurred on November 12th, 2020..

Blandon Alexander Bell, 33, of Frederick was charged by Grand Jurors in a superseding indictment with two counts of possession and two counts of possession of PCP/LSD/hallucingen;–Phencvyclidine and possession with intent to distribute PCP/LSD/hallucingen–Tenocyclidine for an incident which took place on October 28th, 2020.

Michael George Adee, 32, of Cascade, Md, was indicted for three counts of 2nd-degree rape for an incident which took place on April 19th of last year……

Timajae Terelle Thomas, 19, of Frederick was indicted for 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an incident which occurred on August 2nd, 2020.

The Grand Jury also indicted Jose Benito Lopez, 42, of Frederick, for sex abuse of a minor; 3rd-degree sex offense; 4th-degree sex offense; and 2nd-degree assault for incidents which occurred between June 1st, 2017 and August 31st, 2017.

The panel charged Carlos Ahmed Daniel Whitehead, 45, of Washington DC, with 1srt-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault; two counts of possession of a firearm with a felony conviction; two counts of illegal possession of a firearm; illegal possession of ammunition; having a handgun on his person; and having a loaded handgun on his person for an incident which occurred on July 31st, 2020.

These cases now move to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled. But jury trials are on old in Maryland due to the coronavirus pandemic.
