Frederick Keys Prepare To Welcome Fans Back In The Spring

The General Manager says the organization is working to meet COVID-19 safety protocols

Frederick, MD (KB) The Frederick Keys are announcing their plans to welcome fans back to Harry Grove Stadium in the Spring. This season will mark their first season participating in the newly created MLB Draft League.

General Manager Dave Ziedelis said the organization is working to meet COVID-19 protocols.

“Things such as social distancing, not only in the seats, but also in the restrooms and other areas,” he explained. “Mandating that masks be worn, we sanitize the seats between events, have hand sanitizer available.”

He also said the Keys organization will be looking to the Baltimore Orioles, as they will be reopening to spectators first.

Ziedelis said the Frederick community can still expect fun for the whole family. The season will consist of 14 firework dates.

“It will be your same exciting Keys promotional schedule, with giveaways and celebrity appearances and those types of happenings,” he said.

The General Manager said the full promotional schedule will be released closer to the start of the season, which is scheduled to begin on May 24th.

Ziedelis confirmed that in 2020, Harry Grove Stadium was still able to safely host events, such as graduation ceremonies and church services.
