The two suspects got away on foot.

 

New Market, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery of the McDonald’s restaurant at 11700 Morning Gate Drive in New Market on Sunday evening…

Authorities say a man and a woman entered the establishment. The woman asked for a drink and handed over some money. As the cashier was opening the register,  both the man and woman produced handguns and pointed them at the cashier and employees. The man went around the corner and emptied the register. . Both fled on foot.

The man is described as Caucasian, between his late 20’s and early 30’s, 5’9″ to six-feet with an average build. He had a dirty blond goatee and blue eyes. He was wearing a red hooded  sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black mask, and white tennis shoes He was brandishing a black and sliver handgun.

The woman is mixed race (Caucasian/African-American) , 5’5″ to 5’8″ with a slender build. She was wearing black leggings, a light blue hoodie sweatshirt, black mask, and black tennis shoes. She was brandishing a black handgun.

Anyone who has information on these two individuals, or has home security video is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say they especially want to speak with anyone on the streets of Bobolink Place, Bobolink Trail and Morning Gate Court at the time of the robbery. .
