Frederick, Md. (DG) – Local hospitalizations due to COVID-19 have decreased slightly.
The Frederick County Health Department reported over the weekend there were 43 coronavirus patients at Frederick Health Hospital, compared to 46 last week. The number of patients in I-C-U is 8.
In Frederick County there have been 16,409 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported since the pandemic began, with 252 deaths.
The seven-day positivity rate has also decreased to 5.6 percent.
According to the health department 29,510 residents have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 11,598 have received the second dose.
