Youth Charged In Connection With Three Stabbings In Frederick

Frederick, Md (KM) A juvenile has been charged in connection with three stabbings in Frederick recently.

Detectives say they obtained information that the youth was involved in stabbings on February 6th on South McCain Drive, and February 20th at 1025 West Patrick Street. They served a search warrant at his home, and made contact with the youth and his mother.

The juvenile was taken to Frederick Police headquarters where he was questioned. He has also  been charged with a third stabbing on February 17th at the Prospect Hall Apartment complex.

The youth is charged as a juvenile and has been taken to a State Juvenile Detention Facility.

Police say the youth had been questioned by officers on Sunday, February 21st, when he was wearing similar clothing to what witnesses describe he was wearing during the incidents, and he was in the same general vicinity as the stabbings.
