Mother Of Four Loses Everything In House Fire

Family friends have created a GoFundMe page to ease her worry

Martinsburg, WV (KB)   Tena has been described as a “caring” person who will do “anything for anyone.” Members of the community and friends of the family have come together to start a GoFundMe page for the mother of four who lost everything in a house fire, including two of her children and the father of her children.

Tena is now faced with the task of trying to rebuild her life, as well as the lives of her two surviving children. Those around her want to help ease her worry and pain, and are hopeful that the fundraiser will help cover the cost of new clothes for her surviving children, as well as funeral arrangements for the rest of the family.

Also lost in the fire were the family’s pets.

A close friend of Tena wrote, “She [Tena] needs anything and everything. She will not only have the expense of rebuilding an entire life, but also putting 3 people she loved more than anything to rest.”

The GoFundMe page, which was created six days ago, has so far raised just over $27,000 dollars to help the family.

Sarah Starliper, the organizer of the fundraiser, said she is appreciative of all who have donated.
