The new regulations take affect on Friday.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Board of Health has revised some local health regulations to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Meeting on Tuesday night, the Board decided to remove restrictions on social gatherings of 25 or more, and no longer place occupancy limits on fitness centers or wedding venues. In addition, organizers of events of 100 people or more need to provide information to the County Health Department. But the Governor’s mask requirements and social distancing regulations remain in place.
These new regulations go into effect on Friday, March 26th at 5:00 PM.
The Frederick County Board of Health consists of the County Council, and the County Executive. The Health Officer serves as the Executive Officer and Secretary of the Board.
