Police activity in the Farmbrook are prompted the lockdown. Six schools were placed on lockdown.
Frederick, Md (KM) Three suspects were detained following a shots-fired incident in the Farmbrook community on Tuesday afternoon.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says at around 12:30 PM, deputies responded to the 5700 block of Charstone Court.. After securing the scene, they were able to detain three people. There were no injuries from the shots fired incident, but there is possible property damage.
While deputies were conducting their search of the area, six local school were locked down beginning at 12:33 PM. They were Tuscarora Elementary and High Schools, Ballenger Creek Elementary and Middle Schools, Orchard Grove Elementary School, and Crestwood Middle School. The lockdown was lifted 1:02 PM.
