Frederick, Md (KM) The drainage work on Route 77, or Rocky Ridge Road, in Frederick County will take place on Thursday rather than Wednesday as originally scheduled.

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says the project will involve the replacement of a drainage pipe running under Route 77 between Old Mill Road and Old Frederick Road.

That section of Rocky Ridge Road will be closed. Motorists will be detoured to Route 76, or Motters Station Road to Appolds Road, and then to Old Frederick Road.

The work is expected to begin at 9:00 AM, and be completed by 3:00 PM weather permitting.
