Suspect Arrested In Shooting In Frederick County Two Years Ago

He was apprehended in Montgomery County.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect in a shooting two years ago has been arrested. Demar Cortez Allen, 29, of Germantown was apprehended earlier this week by Montgomery County Police, and was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, April 13th.

The shooting occurred on April 20th, 2019 at the Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church on Ballenger Creek Pike. Two people were injured. Both were treated and released from the hospital.

The shooting happened during a funeral service.

Allen is charged 12 offenses, including assault and weapons offenses.. He’s being held without bond.
