Hagerstown, Md (KM) A Hagerstown woman died after being struck by a vehicle in Washington County Sunday night.
State Police say Jessica Nicole Lange (Morrow), 37, was out for an evening run along Leitersburg Pike at the intersection of Marsh Pike. She entered the northbound travel lane of Leitersburg Pike, and was crossing east to west when she was hit. Troopers say she was wearing dark clothing at the time.
The driver of the striking vehicle identified as Jesse Edward James Baer of Hagerstown turned around and provided assistance.
Lange was taken to Meritus Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
