Frederick Police Charge Two Following Suspected Drug Deal

The two were apprehended by the Street Crimes  Unit.

Frederick, Md (KM) Two men were arrested last week in Frederick following a suspected drug deal.

The Police Street Crimes Unit was conducting surveillance in the area of Alban Court when officers  saw what looked like a drug transaction. They  followed the suspected dealer as he drove away

A traffic stop was conducted on Waverly Drive. They made contact with Leonardo Agustin Carrera Sanchez, 36, and WIlfredo Argueta Garcia, 37 both of Frederick. . Police say after receiving consent to conduct a search of their vehicle and their persons, officers found a folded dollar bill on Sanchez containing cocaine, and four bags of cocaine on Garcia.

Garcia is charged with possession with the intent to distribute Alprazoiam and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Carrera Sanchez is charged with possession of cocaine.

Both men were served with criminal summons.
