Frederick City Says It’s Pools Are Ready For Summer

Diggs Pool is open; Thomas Pool to open on June 18th.

Frederick, Md (KM) Summertime means a dip in the swimming pool, and the City of Frederick says both of its pools are ready.

Passes for city residents are available; non-city residents can buy pool passes beginning on June 11th. Visit cityoffrederick.gov/webtrac.

The William R. Diggs Pool is open Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM; and 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM; Saturday, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM; 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM; and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM; and on Sunday, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM; and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Registration is encouraged  and will continue through June 17th. Walk-ups admissions are welcome if capacity limits allow, according to the city.

Normal pool hours at the Diggs Pool   will begin  on June 18th.

The Edward P. Thomas, jr.  Pool will open on June 18th with capacity limitations Hours of operation are Monday-Sunday, 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM. No outside group entry will be permitted due to capacity limits. .
