She admitted to smoking PCP
Frederick, Md. (DG) – A woman was arrested last Wednesday night in Frederick on a long list of drug and other offenses.
On June 5, 2021, a Frederick City Police Officer was in the area of Route 40 and Baughmans Lane and observed a minivan weaving between the lanes of travel. The officer followed the vehicle and after seeing it nearly strike a parked car on Norva Avenue, tried to pull the vehicle over. The mini van continued to drive at a slow speed and ran a stop sign at a 4-way intersection. The officer also conducted a check of the vehicle’s registration which showed the registered owner, Tiffany Marie Neal, had a suspended license and an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in court for a previous DUI/DWI arrest.
After a short distance, the minivan was seen pulling into a shopping center on South Jefferson St. The officer again attempted to stop the vehicle, but the minivan drove away. The van eventually pulled back into the parking lot and police approached the vehicle.
Police made contact and asked Neal to exit the vehicle. She refused and locked the doors. After several minutes she finally got out of the mini van. Neal told the detectives that she had smoked PCP. Officers searched the minivan and were able to locate two small bottles containing suspected PCP.
Neal was charged with possession, driving on a suspended icense, reckless driving, and driving while impaired.
