Hagerstown, Md (KM) A Hagerstown man was killed in an early-morning vehicle collision in Washington County.
State Police say on Friday morning, Jonathan Monroe, 50, was struck by a tractor trailer which was traveling southbound on Interstate 81 near Route 40. Monroe was in the roadway at the time, troopers say. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drive of the tractor trailer is identified as Bakhovoddin Murshiddinov, 47, of Hagerstown.
State Police say the crash is under investigation.
