Frederick County Offices To Be Closed On July 5th For Independence Day

They will reopen on July 6th.

 

 

 

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County Government offices will be closed on Monday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day. They will reopen on Tuesday, July 6th at their regularly scheduled times.

Other County agencies will continue to remain closed to the public. They include Animal Control, the Board of Elections, and the Department of Social Services.

The landfill on Reichs Ford Road will be closed on Saturday, July 3rd, but will be open on Monday, July 5th. Administrative offices will be closed. Residential recycling will be collected on a regular schedule with no holiday adjustment.

The Health Department will be closed July 4th.

The Public Libraries will be closed on Monday. Curbside pickup and telephone reference will not be available that day.

TransIT offices will be closed on Monday, July 5th. There will be no TransIT Plus services, Connector and Shuttle services in observance of Independence Day. The MARC Train and the 204, 505, and 515 Commuter Bus service will be canceled.
