Crews will be building a roundabout.

Frederick, Md (KM) Walter Martz Road between Yellow Springs Road and Rocky Springs Road will be closed for four months beginning on Monday, July 26th. The City of Frederick says crews will be constructing a roundabout in that area.
The construction will close Walter Martz Road between Yellow Springs Road and Christophers Crossing which will be open to local traffic only. The closure will also include 1,000 feet of Yellow Springs Road from Walter Martz Road to the intersection.
The contractor, FO Day Co, Inc., says the work is expected to be completed by November, 2021
Motorists are urged to follow the posted detour. .
