Frederick Police Searching For Man Allegedly Involved In Incident On Stratford Way

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

His family says the man had mental health issues and access to weapons.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police responded to Stratford Way on Monday afternoon to investigate a man with access to weapons making threats against a woman. “We had a visitor to FPD headquarters, a family of male stopped in to report that he was experiencing a mental health crisis and had been making some threats and also had access to firearms,”: says spokesman Allen Etzler, who says the visitor came in at around 12:00 noon. .

He says police responded to the man’s home in the 800 block of Stratford Way. The Special Response Team and the Crisis Negotiating Team, along with several patrol officers, came along. “We have since then confirmed that the subject in question is not in the residence, and the subject that he was reported to be making threats against by his family that that person is safe and in no danger,”” Etzler says.

He says police are looking for that individual identified as Dominic Lull, 34.

“No shots fired at all. Nobody was injured. No harm to the people in the neighborhood. The roads have opened back up. They’re free to travel as they please,” says Etlzler.
